Leonidio

200 kilometers south of the ancient Athens we find Leonidio.
A beautiful village, conserving all the traditional characteristic stile of the area.
Around this town of Shepards and fishermen, we found some of the most stunning climbing crags that you have ever seen. Some of those within a walking distance from city center, like the tufa paradise sector” Mars” or massive multi-pitch wall “Kokinovrachos”.
Others spreed in the green valley of the Dafnon river, like the never-ending tufas of sector Elona, or the steep climbs of Nifada right next to the top of the mountain.

The variety of the climbing, the proximity of the sea and the traditional flavor of the village make Leonidio one of the most interesting climbing destinations for winter season in Europe.
